Lace Panties
Lace panties follow the same rules as any other pair — the cut, the fit, the fabric weight — with lace as the defining surface material. The same silhouettes, made with more character.
About this collection
The most-worn lace panties are stretch lace: the fabric moves with the body, softens with washing, and works across the full range of everyday cuts — thongs, bikinis, briefs, boyshorts, and high-waist styles. Guipure and corded lace are stiffer, more graphic, and better suited to special occasions or times when the panty is meant to be seen. Floral lace sits between the two — decorative but usually soft enough for regular rotation.
This collection brings together lace briefs, lace thongs, lace bikinis, lace boyshorts, and lace high-waist styles from houses including Journelle Collection, Cosabella, Chantelle, Simone Pérèle, Hanky Panky, Fleur of England, and Kiki de Montparnasse. Sizing typically runs XS through XXL, with extended sizing on selected styles.
From the fitting room: lace panties size the same as any other pair — the waistband should lie flat without rolling or digging, and there should be no pulling at the leg openings. Stretch lace is the most forgiving if you're between sizes; guipure and rigid lace styles are truer to size and sometimes run firm. When in doubt, go up.

Panty Fit & Style
All Journelle fit advice is written and reviewed by our senior fitters — trained in cut, rise, fabric, and seam-finish across every brand we stock.
Find Your Cut
Thong, G-string, bikini, boyshort, high-waist brief, seamless — every panty cut explained, with who each suits, what it solves, and when it's the wrong call. The guide our fitters wrote to end the "why doesn't any panty feel right?" problem.
Explore the Panty GuideSizing & Rise
Panty fit fails more often as a rise mismatch than a size mismatch. A low-rise that rolls down, a high-waist that digs, a boyshort that cuts into the thigh — almost always a rise or leg-band issue, not the size on the tag. Measure once, match your rise, and you'll stop rotating through a drawer of panties you never wear.

Under a sheath dress or tailored trousers, the finish matters more than the cut. Laser-cut and bonded-edge styles sit flat through fabric; most "seamless" styles with sewn edges don't. Our fitters' picks for truly no-VPL panties across every cut.

Women's Lace Panties
Lace panties cover the full range of underwear silhouettes — thongs, briefs, bikinis, boyshorts, high-waist styles — in lace rather than the smooth fabrics most everyday pairs are made from. At Journelle, the lace panty selection runs from everyday stretch-lace styles built for all-day comfort to guipure and embroidered pieces made to be seen. Lace thongs are the go-to under fitted clothing where smooth microfibre would feel too clinical; lace briefs and bikinis work for everyday wear and for building matched sets with a lace bra.
Most lace panties wash and wear well — stretch lace in particular softens with use. Hand-wash or a mesh laundry bag on a delicate cycle extends the life of the lace significantly. All underwear at Journelle is final sale.
