Silk Lingerie & Loungewear
Silk warms and cools with the body, drapes more closely than any synthetic, and carries colour in a way no machine-made fibre replicates — and it is the most demanding fabric we stock.
About this collection
Silk is the rare fabric that improves with the body wearing it. Worn against skin, it warms and cools in turn, drapes more closely than synthetic alternatives, and carries color in a way that no machine-made fiber quite replicates. It is also the most demanding fabric we stock — difficult to source, more difficult to construct.
This collection is built around silk and silk-blend pieces from houses that take the material seriously: chemise dresses, slip dresses, bias-cut robes, soft-cup bralettes, camisoles, and matching pyjama sets. Brands include Eberjey, Morgan Lane, Fleur of England, Studio Pia, and our own Journelle Collection. Sizing varies by maker; most pieces follow European or American conventions through L or XL.
From the fitting room: silk drapes more closely than woven cotton — if you typically size up for ease, the same approach often produces a more flattering line in silk. Always hand-wash or use a delicate-cycle wash bag; never tumble-dry, and avoid hot iron. If you treat silk pieces with care, they last longer than nearly anything else in your drawer.

Silk Lingerie & Luxury Silk Loungewear
Silk underwear is the category where fabric does the real work — temperature-regulating, naturally smooth against skin, and cut to hold its drape in a way synthetic satin never does. Journelle's silk edit covers silk bras in underwire and bralette styles, silky panties in thong, bikini, and brief cuts, silk camisoles that layer under outerwear or stand alone, and silk loungewear sets designed for sleeping and staying in. The distinction that matters in luxury silk lingerie is momme weight: 16–22mm is the standard for garments — heavier holds structure, lighter reads as scarfweight. Every piece here is sourced from designers who specify their silk rather than just market the word.
