DD+ Bras
A bra that fits well above a D cup is a different design problem from one made for a smaller cup. The weight distribution shifts. The band has to do more work. The cup geometry has to lift rather than only enclose. Brands that don't engineer specifically for fuller cups inevitably under-deliver on support, regardless of price.
About this collection
Our DD+ collection is curated from labels that treat the larger cup as the foundational design constraint, not as an afterthought sized up from a sample. You'll find underwire balconettes, full-coverage cups, plunges, t-shirt bras, and soft-cup wireless styles from houses including Panache, Adina Reay, Chantelle, Simone Pérèle, and our own Journelle Collection. Sizing extends from D cup through J cup across multiple band configurations.
From the fitting room: the most common mistake in fuller-cup fitting is wearing the band too loose. The band carries most of a larger cup's weight; if it rides up across the back or feels comfortable at the loosest hook from new, it's almost always one to two band sizes too big. Our fitters are trained specifically on D-and-up fit, and the consultation is free in any of our boutiques.

All Journelle fit advice is written and reviewed by our senior fitters — trained in bust anatomy, band mechanics, and cup-shape matching across every brand we stock.
Measure at Home
Our fitters walk you through the exact method we use in the fitting room — band measurement, bust measurement, cup-size math, and the S/M/L conversions for bralettes and wireless styles. Five minutes with a tape measure and you'll have the number we'd give you in person.

Size is only half the story. Full-on-top, full-on-bottom, wide-set, close-set, teardrop, asymmetric — each shape is better served by a specific cup cut. Our guide maps every shape to the styles our fitters pull for it in store.

Finding a bra that fits well in a DD cup or larger used to mean choosing between support and style. The DD+ edit at Journelle is built on the premise that you don't have to. The collection includes balconette bras that create lift and a defined silhouette, demi styles for a low-cut neckline that still provides shape, plunge bras for deep V necklines, full cup constructions for maximum coverage and support, and wire-free options for everyday comfort. Specialist brands like Freya, Elomi, Panache Lingerie, and Empreinte design their entire ranges around larger cup sizes — wider underwires, deeper cups, and stronger bands that actually distribute weight correctly. Journelle's own label extends into DD+ sizes across multiple styles. If you're unsure whether your current bra is the right size or shape for your bust, the fit guides and virtual fittings on this page are the best place to start.
