About Dora Larsen
Dora Larsen was established in London in 2016 by Georgia Larsen, who left her job at a major fashion retailer after growing tired of uncomfortable and uninspiring lingerie. The brand — named after Georgia's childhood dog — is now run with her husband Jake from their office in Bath. Two collections a year, produced in limited quantities, each with its own considered color story.
The sustainability commitments are equally intentional. Bespoke laces are made from at least 83% recycled materials; all components are OEKO-TEX certified. The Tove Tanga's gusset is GOTS-certified organic cotton. For a brand so focused on color, the materials are quietly rigorous — which is exactly how we like it in pieces we recommend to our customers.

This is a balconette-cut underwire bra in a bespoke floral lace designed exclusively for the Tove range — you won't find this pattern anywhere else. It's unpadded, which lets the lace do all the work: delicate, dimensional, and surprisingly soft thanks to the recycled nylon construction. The silhouette is feminine without being fussy — adjustable straps, hook-and-eye back closure, and a balconette shape that lifts and frames rather than sculpts.
From our fitting room: The Tove balconette is best suited to medium-set to wider-set busts, and works particularly well for those who prefer a natural silhouette over a pushed-up one. Because the cups are unlined, we find the fit sweetest for customers between a B and a DD — you get full lace coverage without the cup gaping that unlined balconettes can show at smaller volumes. That said, the range extends from 32A through 34E in Seafoam Green, and across the band sizes, we've seen it work beautifully for a wide variety of shapes.
The band runs true to UK sizing. If you typically wear a 34 in UK-sized brands, reach for your usual 34 here. For customers accustomed to US sizing only: the bands are the same, and the cups align through D — above that, UK DD equals US E, UK E equals US F, and UK F equals US G. The gusset is 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton — the material closest to your skin meets one of the most rigorous certifications for both environmental and social responsibility across the entire supply chain. It's a detail that matters, and one Dora Larsen is consistent about across their range.
