We love a good kimono. We have oodles of them in silk, big hanging sleeves flapping around and luxe-dragon embroidery. They're for when we're feeling theatrical, you know, ready for our close-ups. But when we really, really love a kimono, when we're feeling like we need to be wrapped in luxury, when we're ready for our up-close-and-personals, is when the classic kimono silhouette we love is pared down, modernized (those unwieldy sleeves benefit greatly from this treatment), shawl collared, and rendered in cashmere. That's when it's truly perfect. Like so.
